RemStar M Series Pro - Get out of Setup mode

Post by jcranmer » Wed Dec 13, 2006 6:31 pm

Ok, with some simple searching of this forum, I found the "secret code" to get into the setup menu of my machine. Mainly since the DME tech, took the time to tell me not to bother even trying, before I even asked him about it.

So I've been in it, looked at the settings by using the left and right arrows to look at each option.

Now for my stupid question of the day.

How the heck do I get out of it? I tried unplugging the unit and plugging it back in, but the option to enter "setup" is still there. It's not really that big of a deal, but in the middle of the night, I would perfer not to hit the wrong button and end up changing something.

Try pressing the power button. That should take you back to the user menu.

On/Off button as mentioned,

same if you want to change Cflex settings in "User" mode, you press the Cflex button, use the +/- keys to move the arrow to the next setting, when it is where you want, you press the On/Off button to save the change, the On/Off button will "blink" acknowledging the change.

Thanks! I guess I would have figured that out eventually, I was just a little afraid that I might hit a button and end up changing something.

Now if I can just keep my mask from leaking, I might eventually get somewhere.

Good luck on that one!!!!! Mask leakage is the most prevalent problem in this therapy, I'd imagine.

So I understand.

I actually know what is going on with my leaks, I just have to work on fixing them.

When I start out each night, I normally prop myself up on 4 -5 pillows, as I sleep I start to slide down the pillows which pulls my head gear up and causes the mask to leak. I think I just need to train myself to either sleep flat from the start or stop sliding.

Not that I expect either to actually work.
