Hi
Phillips Dreamstation on auto - 12 to 18
Just downloaded SleepyHead but don't really understand too much yet. For the attached AHI is 0.18 which is good. Just wondering about the pressure graph. Its flat at 12 most of the time and spikes up periodically. Is this normal? Others I have seen usually looks more like a wave. Do I have the lower pressure set too high on my cpap?

Re: Help with SleepyHead
Those spikes are the machine being stupid when there's nothing to do because you're breathing peacefully and regularly.
An ideal ight on your kind of machine would be continuous spikes all night long.
Other than deleting sleepyhead and getting Oscar, there's nothing to do, at this point.

Downloaded Oscar. I see, the machine is sending out pulses to detect possible obstruction.palerider wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2019 10:29 amThose spikes are the machine being stupid when there's nothing to do because you're breathing peacefully and regularly.

Re: Help with SleepyHead
No, "pressure pulses" don't show up in the pressure line, those are pressure *probes*, where when you're sleeping really well and evenly, the machine says "I wonder if I can make this better by increasing the pressure a little", and normally the answer is 'no' and the pressure goes back down.JGA wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2019 7:26 pmDownloaded Oscar. A Pressure Pulse will show up as a little black tick mark when you've not been breathing six or seven seconds, ans the machine will start sending one second long 1cm pressure increases to try and figure out if your airway is open or not I don't see any of those on your chart.
