Truth. Not a fan of cold at all. 15 years in northern nevada cured me of my desire to see/ live in cold country.

I like cold weather, but my wife doesn't. So, we compromised and live in Oklahoma instead of Alaska where I wanted to retire when I left the military. Actually, my job brought us to Oklahoma, but we are still here six years after I finally retired from my last job.

But you guys who live in Canada are so much better prepared for the cold because you get it so much.
Those of us living farther south just aren't used to it and aren't prepared for it. Our houses weren't built with months of frigid Artic air in mind.
This stuff we are getting now...20 something degrees below our normal for this time of year.
We are a bunch of wussies.
