Jim, I have tried the Silent Nite. For me, it's better than nothing, but not as good as the CPAP. I use it for traveling, camping trips, etc.

My dentist gave me a good deal on mine so I wasn't out of pocket a lot if it didn't work, so that helped make the decision to try it.

I can go a few days with it, but ultimately lose enough sleep that I have to go back to the CPAP.

Wow, it would be good for travelling. Easier to lug through airports etc.
