Low AHI and Leak rate with nasal pillows? Accuracy of MyAir

Post by Sharp1948 » Sun Oct 06, 2019 12:40 pm

I started to use ResMed AutoSense 10 and Swift Fox nasal pillows about 2 months ago. After much learning I found the comfortable pressures, 4 to 9 cm and a way to keep my Mouth closed airtight. There is no air-leak around the nasal pillows. I sleep well and have no issues.

Over the past week my air-leak is close to zero and AHI is under 0.6 PH. I am very ecstatic, but is it possible to have such perfect score of 100/100? 7 days in a row. Just doubting the machine’s sensory system.

My record is 44 straight 100s.

MyAir is more or a motivational tool than a diagnostic one.

Best thing to do is *ignore* the score, and ignore myair.

Get Oscar, and see what's really going on during the night.

Thank you both. I put the information into Oscar. It can confirmed both readings.
