Respironcs dreamstation turning off all night

Hey all,

My dreamstation CPAP machine has been turning off all night. The power is still on but the air is not blowing. Which is creating terrible nights sleep.

Any ideas if there is a fix ? Perhaps there's a therapist mode setting I can change? Thanks !

How long have you had the machine?

Consider replacing the power brick or the power cord and see if that fixes the problem.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't had the machine that long. However it fell off my night stand over the summer and broke my humidifier. I'm concerned this new turning off problem is from that accident. It is strange though bc the machine power stays on when it turns off

Consider disabling the auto-off feature. It might be malfunctioning.

It's not so strange that the standby power supply remains active.....they all do that.
It shouldn't be shutting off all on its own though.
Probably something got damaged with the fall.....where did you get the machine from? Brick and mortar store or online?

Can you post a detailed report from the available software so we can check to make sure it's not related to leaks or something like that?

I suspect you need a new machine with the history of the fall. Possible damaged to some of the computer stuff inside the machine.

Check your connection from the power brick to the blower and make sure it is snug.

Check your clinical menu, it's in there.

Go into your settings menu and look for Auto start or Auto off or smart start (Whatever they call it)...change it to off.

Have you tried resetting it? Just unplug it for 60 sec. Then plug it back in. You might also run a diagnostic check. That is in your set up screen.

Thanks everyone for your help. I tried some of the tactics with no luck. I was about to get a replacement machine for a reasonable price. Have about 5 days until it gets to me so will continue trying these tips on my old machine so I don't wake up choking. Appreciate it !
