Amara View not fitting with DreamStation

I got a new Amara View mask a while back and I was planning on using it. However, I encountered an unexpected problem-the mask tubing and the DreamStation tubing don't fit together.

Am I doing something wrong or do I have the wrong parts? Any advice is appreciated.

You've got a little piece from another mask stuck in the long hose.
See that little bit of white on the mask end of the long hose? That's not supposed to be there. Wiggle it around until you can get it out and then the new mask will fit.
