Hello, today I bought my first CPAP device. It is F&P Icon+.
This device has Ramp and SensAwake feature. Do I need to activate ramp while SensAwake feature active?
I think these features are for same purpose.
Question about Ramp and SensAwake feature
Re: Question about Ramp and SensAwake feature
As I told before it was my first night with a CPAP device. I'm a little bit panic because my minimum pressure is set to 4, maximum is set to 15. Doctor's recipe was like this.
But my device couldn't give more then 6.5. I have 13 times SensAwake events and 16 Flow Limitation events. Do I have a mouth leak? I'm using Brevida pillow mask. Can I get use to it?

Re: Question about Ramp and SensAwake feature
If your machine didn't go above 6.5 cm pressure then its because it just didn't need to.
It only goes up when it thinks it needs to go up and then it only goes as far up as it thinks it needs to.
I can't see your image....use some other hosting site or just use the attachment feature on the forum.
It does us no good to know how many events of anything might have happened without knowing over what duration period.
16 events over 2 hours is bad...over 8 hours not bad.

Re: Question about Ramp and SensAwake feature
Two things.
1) turn off the calendar before you post another picture, please.
2) upload the picture to the forum with the 'attachments' tab under the posting window, and
most importantly
3) Turn up your minimum pressure to 6, your doctor's wrong.

Re: Question about Ramp and SensAwake feature
Ok, I did what you asked for the picture.
Activating ramp makes sense if I set min to 6.
Re: Question about Ramp and SensAwake feature
Perhaps, many people don't feel they need it.
