@palerider
EPR pressure support is only 0-3. Very limited PS unlike bilevel.
Most people don't need more than 3. I have never set mine past 2. I certainly would not pay an extra $700 or more just to get a feature I do not need.
Better to get best device and turn off unneeded features.
Says the guy who insists he needs an ASV, but won't buy one for himself.
Yes I'm working on getting an ASV.

Are there any drugs to give me energy?

I need medications to help me function. I'm pretty useless as is. It's really humiliating and embarrassing to be honest.
Maybe it's not CPAP. :?
Have you tried Cialis? :D

Just here to help,
JPB
Trying to get medications because CPAP is ineffective.

Since it was working for you before and doesn't seem to be working as well now, then perhaps something has changed? No

New medication? No Quit a medication? No
Is your blood pressure lower than normal? No
Sleeping differently, or different bed / pillow. etc? No
Have you been sick? No
Eating later? No Or maybe alcohol later at night? No
pain bothering you? No
Are you having more leaks? No Need a new cushion? No
Have you gained or lost any weight recently? No

Nothing changed. Just can't tolerate CPAP anymore.

I see, reality isn't your forte... got it... moving on.
Geez palerider. That's rude. Do you know it is rude?

Do you care?
Nope, don't care, can't tell omar anything, he's already made up his mind, facts don't matter, tired of wasting my time.

Stopped using CPAP for 5 days and my lightheaded dizziness off-balance have almost disappeared. Still tired and sleepy. Maybe I have UARS instead of sleep apnea but CPAP should still work.

Are bipap or ASV better for UARS?

Thanks!

Been feeling better without Cpap for about 2 weeks. Tried restarting therapy with higher pressures like 14-16 and wake up with gas, burping, stomach pains and cramps.

Why so many problems with CPAP?

Does it really work?

Omar, a couple of thoughts.

Have you had a sleep study since 2010? If not, that might be a good idea, especially if you get a polysomnographic study. I would strongly recommend that as a first step.

Your flow limitation chart is somewhat busy, and you might benefit from a bilevel machine like the ResMed VAuto. It will be able to give you more pressure support, which can reduce flow limitations. That in turn will reduce the amount of exertion that you expend on inhaling. You might not need a very high EPAP, which might improve your comfort at night.

Have you ever scrolled through your flow rate graph zoomed in to about five minutes per view? That might give you an idea of how often you experience mini-arousals.
