EPR pressure support is only 0-3. Very limited PS unlike bilevel.
Most people don't need more than 3. I have never set mine past 2. I certainly would not pay an extra $700 or more just to get a feature I do not need.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

Stopped using CPAP device last 3 nights because seems ineffective after 2.5 years. Snoring now, still fatigued, and sleepy but lightheaded, dizziness starting to subside. Mental focus seems better. Any reasons why?

I read a post that CPAP devices stop tracking apneas after 1.5 years. Any truth?

I'm curious if an sv servo bi with oxygen would help
That's what I want but doctors refuse.

Better to get best device and turn off unneeded features. Manufacturers don't need to sell 10 machines when 1 device can do it all. Only difference is firmware.

Seems like an odd post from somebody who didn't know much. Insurance companies usually won't replace a machine before 5 years unless it can't be repaired. If they didn't function correctly after 1.5 years, that wouldn't make any sense. Many people here have machines they use that are over 10 years old and working fine. I got mine in 2012. It reports my ahi every day like normal. And it is working well like normal.

Since it was working for you before and doesn't seem to be working as well now, then perhaps something has changed?

New medication? Quit a medication?
Is your blood pressure lower than normal?
Sleeping differently, or different bed / pillow. etc?
Have you been sick?
Eating later? Or maybe alcohol later at night?
pain bothering you?
Are you having more leaks? Need a new cushion?
Have you gained or lost any weight recently? That can change mask fit and pressure needs.

I suppose if you are rich, then you can afford to buy the most expensive machine and not use most of the features. That's not an option for me. I paid my copay for the apap, and it is doing quite well for me. I later bought a used one of the same model to use as my travel/backup machine.

I could actually get a free machine this year if I push for it. I have met my out of pocket cap for the year (first time in my life), so it should be fully covered. I don't need one yet, and I would have to deal with a DME again. So, I haven't decided if I want to do that. I am happy with my current 2 machines. But it could be years before I meet the cap again.

Geez palerider. That's rude. Do you know it is rude?

Do you care?

Does it meet forum guidelines for respect when disagreeing?

Nope, don't care, can't tell omar anything, he's already made up his mind, facts don't matter, tired of wasting my time.

Are there any drugs to give me energy?

I need medications to help me function. I'm pretty useless as is. It's really humiliating and embarrassing to be honest.
Maybe it's not CPAP. :?
Have you tried Cialis? :D

Just here to help,
