At least for me, the Airtouch F20 with an added pad-a-cheek anti-leak strap was transformative. Masks last me a long time but I burn through cushions about every six weeks ($30 on Amazon).jsmit86 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 7:38 amYou might want to try the Resmed AirTouch F20 mask.
It uses a memory foam cushion instead of silicone.
I have used the AirFit F20 which is similar to your F10, and I also have used the AirTouch type.
I have found that the AirTouch with memory foam is easier to adjust and control leaks. Generally speaking it provides a better seal.
That could be worth a try.

With the amount they charge for masks there must be once that works for mouth breathers without leaking! Thanks.

Re: Ready to throw away CPAP!!!
I do not have much leak if any wearing the RespCare Universal Hybrid FFM. It has pillows and covers the mouth so can breathe thru nose or mouth without losing therapy air, comes with 3 sizes of each to get a good fit. Our host has return insurance in case it doesn't work for you. A mouth breather (thanks to chronic allergies/vasomotor rhinitis), I am a sidesleeper with pressure range 9.8-16 and worn this mask since 2009 (it handles low to high pressures). Playing with humidifier settings helped manage my congestion.
I must absolutely have a clean face when I mask-up, any facial oil means I cannot get a good seal. So nightly washing of face and daily washing of mask.

A simplus full won't leak
Strap down tight

Re: Ready to throw away CPAP!!!
Sure it will if not fitted properly or not the correct size
Actually counter productive if a person really studies up on how masks need to inflate to actually seal. Cranking it down tight doesn't allow the inflation to happen.
Potentially can cause OSA to worsen and/or need more pressure and the more pressure can make the leaks worse.

As often said in the past, one man's trash is another man's treasure. Everybody is different and every face is different. I have tried several masks that did not work for me, but worked for someone else. I was glad to pass many of them along to other people to use.
