ANY OPTIONS OTHER THAN FULL MASK OR CHIN STRAP FOR OPEN MOUTH

In the last four years, I have tried several nasal pillow type masks and could not keep my mouth shut once I fell asleep. I have found that tape falls into two categories: either it doesn't stick well, or it takes my skin with it when I remove it, and chin straps didn't help. I get very good treatment using a full face mask (AHI averages less than 0.5 with several nights a month at 0).

Thank you all for your support and advise. i went back to using my temper pedic neck pillow and its helping keep my neck in a better position and on my side; seems better for now so hoping to avoid the tape or collar. i don’t think i can stand anything else on my head like a strap. I appreciate the mention that it might get better over time. I have only been on cpap for 4 months. I also appreciate those that recommended a full mask. I still have the original small dream wear and it wasn’t too bad, I may try it again if I need to as I see the point of having so many accessories on you may as well try the mask. Again thank ya’ll so much for taking the time to help me. BTW i didn’t really understand the poly grip? Are you trying to hold your teeth or lips together. 🧐

They use it to hold their lips together. I'm not sure how it works. I know it wouldn't hold my partial in place, so I really don't see how it would work for the lips.
