Warm up on AirCurve 10

Post by ephraimh » Mon Jul 15, 2019 9:27 pm

What happens if I don't start using my AirCurve until after the word "Cooling" shows up? Can I run warm up at, for example, humidity level of 5 and, then once it's finished warming set it back to 4? How much water "boils off" seems to vary quite a bit from one night to the next even when I set the temp to the same level every night. It could well be broken but Apria... Thanks

It does not "boil".
Just put it on and use it, set for when it is comfortable--all the time
For excess water use, refill the tank or stop mouth-breathing.
Night to night variations are common, and normal.

Personally, I don't mess with the preheat function. If you let the preheat run too long, the cool down is the same as what the machine does when you shut it off in the morning. It blows low volume air through the hose to dry it. If it is in the ool down for only a few minutes, it won't make much difference in the moisture content of the air.
