Hello Pugsy!!

I remember to be awake just once, at 04:16... I'm using cpap fixed pressure mode because I understood this was your sugestion (you suggested to use pressure at 9cm). What is FL flagging? I really don't Know!

Tks a lot!

Fl flag is Flow Limit.
CPAP mode turns off the flagging in your events chart.
Also turn off the calendar.
Left click inside the rectangle with the date in it.

Did you turn off the calendar and pie chart?

No, you just scrolled down, hiding other information.

I didn't tell you to use 9 cm fixed in cpap mode....I just meant for you to drop back down to 9 cm from the 14 you were using...and you were already in cpap mode.
I don't remember if or why I didn't mention apap mode and FL flagging and stuff earlier. Probably because I was more concerned with the centrals and apap mode isn't always a great thing to be using when cpap pressure is triggering centrals.

FLs are Flow Limitations....think of them as baby hyponeas/OAs that haven't grown up (met criteria) to earn a flag of some sort.
In apap mode the flagging is turned on for FLs because the FLs are early warning signs that the airway is trying to collapse. They are important enough the machine will try to kill them....don't know why Respironics turned off the flagging for them...I know cpap mode can't increase the pressure to try to kill the FLs but it would be nice to know if they even happened or not.

How about we try apap (auto mode) with a small range....minimum of the 9 cm and maximum 14....just to see if any FLs get flagged and see if a little more pressure at times might clean up your reports just a little. You don't need more pressure all night....just some of the night. I want to be conservative right now with the pressure increases just in case they are related to cpap pressure.

This is how I like to see a Respironics detailed nightly graph. Just the basics and nice and clean without clutter.

Try clicking on the application menu, just to the left of the file button.

I have no idea why you do not have the preference option.
I have Oscar and Sleepyhead on my computer and both have the preference option.
Hopefully someone with a superior knowledge base will check in and have an answer.
Until then we will just have to work around it. :)
Rest assured you are in the right place to get the help you need.

Good luck,
JPB

I see NoOnesPerfect has stepped up with a suggestion already.

What do you think I should do to decrease the AHI?

Tks!!

Yes, you've got the screenshot right!

Now, raise your pressure.

Philips bought Respironics, and tacked their named on in front, Philips Respironics.

Hello friends!!!

Last night I used my cpap at pressure 9cm to 14cm... Feel it was a better night but not a restorative one, I still feeling tired and dizzy. I also woke up with a dry mouth, which is not common when I'm using lower pressures.. Should I use a chip strap?
Do you think I should buy another equipment? I would do anything to have my life back...
Thank all of you very much!!
