Hi everybody,
I have been using CPAP for a year and my life has changed. I so appreciate being diagnosed and treated. I suspect my mom has an apnea as well. I am now with her and would like to test her with my machine. I asked my doctor but he didn’t want to advise. The machine is set for 8-12. I have seen the tech pressing some buttons to get out of the pre-set so she can change it but I don’t know how.
She lives in Turkey and don’t have sleep clinics where she lives.
1- Can I test her with my machine?
2- How would I do this?
Your guidance is much appreciated,
Thanks

Re: Using AirSense10 for home test.
You can do it. You just need to learn how to get into the clinical setup menu area where you can change the settings.
The manual will explain how.
https://www.respshop.com/manuals/ResMed ... %20her.pdf
I would suggest minimum of 6 cm
EPR 2
max 20
see where it wants to go...if it wants to go anywhere

Re: Using AirSense10 for home test.
Thank you so much, this is great news. May I also ask for help to find out how I will find out the results?
Is it the result that shows on screen or is there any other way to pull this data?

Re: Using AirSense10 for home test.
You will need to use available software to be able to evaluate the results. The data shown on the LCD screen is really limited.
SleepyHead or OSCAR will work with your machine.
See the top topic in the Announcement section of the forum called "Newbies Please Read" and in that thread are links to the available software.
If you need help evaluating the results...post images of detailed reports and someone here can help.
