Re: Resmed Astral
I thought it had new algorithms because it is so smooth. Don't even feel a thing. Just like breathing without it -- except better.

As best as anybody I know of has been able to determine, there were no algorithm changes between the s9 and Air10 Autosets.Arizona-Willie wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 10:38 amI thought it had new algorithms because it is so smooth. what do you think causes that feeling of "smoothness", then? i mean, i certainly felt it at once going from my old phillips to the resmed.palerider wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 11:38 amAs best as anybody I know of has been able to determine, there were no algorithm changes between the s9 and Air10 Autosets.Arizona-Willie wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 10:38 amI thought it had new algorithms because it is so smooth. Re: Resmed Astral
The EasyBreathe algorithm, which controls the way the pressure changes when you're breathing is designed to make breathing feel very natural and smooth. that smooth, not abrupt pressure increase and decrease while you breathe.zonker wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 11:42 amwhat do you think causes that feeling of "smoothness", then? i mean, i certainly felt it at once going from my old phillips to the resmed.palerider wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 11:38 amAs best as anybody I know of has been able to determine, there were no algorithm changes between the s9 and Air10 Autosets.Arizona-Willie wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 10:38 amI thought it had new algorithms because it is so smooth. I feel the same with my S9 VPAP Auto and much higher pressure support than the Autosets. turn off easybreathe though, and ... ugh.
