Bleepers - set for Nasal or Nasal Pillows?

Post by bjhunt01 » Wed Jun 12, 2019 5:16 pm

Hello Bleepers: Just starting and on 5th day. Are you setting your machines for "Nasal" or for "Nasal Pillows?" Thank you!

That makes a lot of sense. I'd always thought there was an assumed value of vent flow that might play into it from mask type to mask type, but when you consider how the machine distinguishes between centrals and obstructives by sending pressure pulses, the "chamber volume" of the mask would play into that.
