Your doctor seems to be pretty far out of the mainstream.

I’m betting you can lower your AHI quite a bit and improve the quality of your sleep. As things stand, you have mild apnea WITH treatment, which is not good.

Could you download the Oscar software, import your data, and post some charts?

https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/

That way the experts here can give you advice about adjustments you or your doctor should consider.
Thank you for your assistance. I downloaded the OSCAR software installed it. Then I inserted my SD card into the computer but I got the message that I did not have any Sleepyhead data to load into the program
I figured it out. I have three images but I don't know how to post them.

you post them as attachments. see the bottom of your screen? below the SAVE DRAFT/ PREVIEW/ SUBMIT buttons?

you'll see two tabs, OPTIONS and ATTACHMENTS. hit the second one and follow the directions.

good luck!

It's the graphs under the "daily" tab that they looking for though. You need to screen shot those ones instead.

Wowzers that is one very flagged chart you have! The experienced folks on this site will help you better that, very quickly I believe. You have come to the right place.

Are you wanting to just improve the results you are getting now with the effort to stay on your side?
If so, I am not so sure it is going to work well enough anyway... but you can try.

I think a minimum pressure change needs to happen even if you can stay on your side all night (which trust me...I know is easier said than done).
You need more minimum pressure...even on your side.

For future report image sharing....please review this thread.
You can get all we need on one image...saves you some work and makes it easier for people to help you.

What a horrible graph,

More maximum pressure needed and as you state some of the Apnoea is positional, it may help if you use a soft cervical collar to help keep your airways open

Thanks for the suggestion I am going to try it. I don’t think simple increases in minimum and maximum pressure are going to do the job. I’ve already tried that and my numbers actually went up.

I found this article which I believe describes my situation and why increasing the pressure will not do the job for me

Re: Need tips to stay sleeping on side - IMPROVEMENT

Thank you Jas_williams for your suggestion about the cervical collar.

only one night of data but BIG improvement so far. Lowest night of AHI since I started in January and first night under 5.0. had some major leaking last night but know I can correct that. Still have a ways to go but optimistic

Interesting article you posted there. I have just found that very thing occurring with a change in mask from a F&P Simplus FFM to a Resmed Airfit F20 FFM that I'm testing on loan. The Airfit is pulling my lower jaw back if my mouth opens. The seal is better on the Airfit but I've had to up my min pressure from 8 to 8.5 and still having a few OSA flags. I see you use the same mask so wonder if its doing the same?

Could try a chinstrap over the headgear. That should keep the mouth closed if so. I shall be doing that. I find the foam cervical collar is not as effective at keeping the mouth closed as it relies on how far your head is tilted forward on your pillow to work.
