Thanks for some reason your old posts I can't see the uploaded images anymore.
Ooops....they were there last night but looks like she moved them or removed links or something.
I saw them last yesterday.
Sorry - I removed them figuring I needed the room for the new attachments. How much space am I allowed?

You are allowed a LOT of room...so don't worry.
For now all we need from the APAP reports is a fairly recent typical night. Mainly to see where the EPAP was going in auto mode so we have an idea what baseline the EPAP on the ST needs to be. So one typical detailed report should be good enough.

Back to the OP - have you ever used a CPAP by chance? I wonder how you'd do with an APAP. Or even the VAuto with moderate PS of say 2-4 for comfort reasons.
She's got some old posts from a DreamStation APAP posted if you dig back in her old posts.
I don't have the time right now to go find them. If you search some of her old posts some report images are available. Not sure if all APAP or cpap mode. Also unsure of how much exhale (Flex) relief was ever done but remember the most anyone can get with Respironics is a 2 cm drop even if the setting is 3.

Short on time at the moment....building a deck.
Pugsy..... You mentioned "Flex" in this post. I don't know squat about Bi-Level, Centrals or half the acronyms being tossed around by you guys in the know, but Flex was the first thing that came to my mind reading the OP's opening comment.

Quote here > "Thanks for making it this far. Any ideas? How do I set the prompt so the 'breath' doesn't start so quickly? I do know how to change settings. How do I get through this month [compliance] wise. What do I say to the doctor?"

The first impression that came to me is the OP is describing breaths backing up on her. I just use the apap Dreamstation, but the Flex, the ability to ease exhalation makes a big difference on my DS. In fact changing Flex by 1 made a huge difference in using the new F&P Simplus mask. I don't know what you would call it, but is there an adjustment that would ease her exhalation? You would probably know what that is. I'm just trying to help.

Thank you Dan..
BiFlex is available on Respironics ASV machines but there are also some other settings that will actually do a better job of easing exhalation and matching up the timing of the respiration a little better.
It has several different comfort options available for customization...and while Flex is available...it's small potatoes compared to what those other settings can do.
Doesn't mean it can't be added into the equation though.
