Noisy Frame for Simplus Full Face Mask
Noisy Frame for Simplus Full Face Mask
I wonder if someone has a suggestion - the silicone flap or "flutter valve" inside the elbow of my Simplus mask frame intermittently clicks rather loudly and disturbs me and my wife. It appears to be worse upon inhalations. Got any ideas? I've tried another frame, still sometimes occurs.

Been using mine for a year...no noise. You can check simple things like a clogged filter, or blocked exhale ports and see if anything helps.

No idea...I would take apart everything and put it all back together securely. Wash everything in soapy water and let it dry.
Are you sure it's not the cushion itself - noise coming from the exhalation holes? I've had noise problems from a few of the cushions.

Re: Noisy Frame for Simplus Full Face Mask
Lately I have had problems with whistle on ALL of the replacement cushions I'm trying. It's frustrating as heck, especially since you don't know about it until it wakes you at 2am. It never seems to be a problem at first, maybe because of accumulated humidity. I can't have my humidity above "auto" when using this mask and still have issues often.
I have had other annoying noises (click, clunk) at times and haven't figured out the cause.
