For those that have been around here a while, I was just told that BleepingBeauty (Robin) has passed away. Facebook told me today is her birthday so I sent wishes. I received a message from a friend saying she had passed away. I don't know any details.

Yeah. Those of us that have been here for a while, and knew her, will miss her. Apparently (and this is embarrassing that I didn't know) she passed away in September.

Yeah. Those of us that have been here for a while, and knew her, will miss her. Apparently (and this is embarrassing that I didn't know) she passed away in September.

This explains why she hadn't posted in a year... but she was an irregular poster.

I guess she and 49er and SirNoddingOff and SnoreDog and all the others who have passed on, can sit up there and laugh their asses off at us now.

Robin was one of the first friends I made here. Our friendship developed into a talk on the phone a couple times a week friendship. Sadly, we just grew apart and those conversations stopped. I hadn't talked to her in a very long time.

How sad. After my long absence and relatively recent return, so many are no longer here. I missed them all.

I always liked her tag line, “Veni, Vidi, Velcro. I came, I saw, I stuck around.”

Her avatar was a roadrunner with its head in a box of expletives.

I remember her struggle with her mother not helping her Dad with his cpap therapy.

It is appropriate to celebrate a person's life on their birthday--so this is good timing, however sad.

I miss my surfer dude buddy SirNoddinOff, thanks for mentioning him. RIP BleepingBeauty, 49er, DoriC's hubby Mike, and all of those souls who no longer need their CPAP machines.
