I already tried searching the Oscar online help files, but couldn't find any information about it... Thanks, cheers
How do I edit the model of 'ventilator' I'm using on my Oscar profile.
How do I edit the model of 'ventilator' I'm using on my Oscar profile.
G'day all. I am wanting to input my new machine model (a Phillips Respironics BI PAP AVAPS 'System One' Series C) in my Oscar profile, but I have no idea how to do it. I have clicked on 'edit profile' but I can't see any area to put a new machine model anywhere. Do I have to make a new profile, or will the Oscar program automatically pick up on the machine model change when I do my first SD Card import (due to the information that has been written onto the SD card by the machine)?
I already tried searching the Oscar online help files, but couldn't find any information about it... Thanks, cheers

Re: How do I edit the model of 'ventilator' I'm using on my Oscar profile.
OSCAR (and SleepyHead) will automatically put the machine model used in the profile.
You don't have to do anything.
If you have another machine profile in there...no problem...The machine shows up under the "changes in prescription" area of the Statistics page. You can have more than one machine shown in the history...I think I have at least 5 under one profile.

Re: How do I edit the model of 'ventilator' I'm using on my Oscar profile.
Yep, Oscar detects it from the SD card (I just did my first import about 5 minutes ago).
When I look at the daily view however, it is saying I am still using my last machine (a Dreamstation CPAP machine) and it is still showing the pressure settings from the Dreamstation and not my current machine (BIPAP).
I'm thinking of starting a new profile, (keeping the Dreamstation one, as it is) but just naming the new one 'Garienne Blochowiak #2'. What do ya'll think? (would it pose any problems for me in Oscar if I chose to do that?).

I was hoping that OSCAR has fixed the sometimes buggy session settings reporting stuff....I guess not.
Yes...just start a new profile and see what you get.
You can have as many profiles as you wish to mess with. Hurts nothing at all.
OSCAR may have a problem with the model of machine you are using. It's not a common model and might not show up properly.
SleepyHead also had a problem with those models...and OSCAR is based on SleepyHead.
