So happy you found your pug Pugsy! What an arduous process that was...
Here's our housemates. I'll start with Cash (as in Johnny). We picked him up at an animal shelter - as we have all of our dogs. He's got some shepherd in him, and who knows what else. He chose my wife as his favorite, first time this has happened. I'm OK with this, because quite frankly he's a real pain in the ass for her when she walks in the door. You'd think she's been gone for years! I took this pic because there was a little moth flying around the lamp on the end table - and he just looked so damned concerned by it. He kept looking at me like, "Don't you SEE that! Aren't you going to DO something about it!". I suppose he was right. But I took his picture instead.

Cash is not bothered by thunder, a first for us. He actually seeks out the cause of all the ruckus. Heads to the back door. I let him out once just to see what he'd do. He went tearing out into a downpour to check it out.

Here's Stanley. My younger daughter brought her home as a kitten while living with us briefly after graduating college. Of course, when my daughter moved out "I just can't take her, she's all settled in here. Besides she's your buddy, dad." Which is true to this day. She falls in the "to cute to not pet" category for me. This one makes me chuckle a lot - she has absolutely ZERO survival instincts, and the softest silkiest fur I've ever touched. Obviously comes from a long, long line of house cats.

And this is Missy. My older daughter brought her home as a kitten when she was a senior in high school( seeing a trend here?). My daughter found her cowering by the dumpster at a convenience store. That was 2004, so Missy's getting up there. She started out as an outdoor cat, but is convalescing into a house cat. My wife calls Missy "Tic" - probably no explanation required here. And no, I don't know why our cats like to sit up in chairs like they are people.
