not sure how to interpret sleepyhead data?

Post by poisen » Wed May 15, 2019 6:18 pm

Hello, posting my sleepyhead data for the first time. I'm not consistently below 5 yet and I am using a bilevel machine. My sleep study said things were hard to control and they had me up to a 21 pressure on bilevel after avg 55 events during test. That pressure level felt like getting punched in the face. Right now I am set to 8/16 but that's more me tweaking it up higher because the meds had me set to 7/14 and was getting avg 10 events...I use an air curve s with a f30 full face mask because couldn't tolerate nasal.

Here is everything overall for the night

The squiggly bit is when the machine uses FOT to decide what type of apnea you are experiencing. It then knows if it should increase the pressure or leave it

Here's how the "FOT" works:

And, yeah, your pressure is too low, you'd likely do much better with a VAuto instead of the S machine, it could respond to your needs during those periods when you need more pressure.
