Im looking for advice on a CPAP mask for use with a ResMed AirCurve 10. While I've used a CPAP machine for years, a recent sleep study indicated that I needed a Bi-Pap with greatly increased volume of airflow, now at 4.0 to ramp and at maximum airflow of 16.0.
I live in Bend, Oregon at an elevation of about 3,500 feet. I prefer to use a nasal pillow, but with such high pressure, I'm having a hard time. I can't do a full face mask, have tried. just doesn't work for me.
Can anyone offer advice on getting some nasal-pillow type mask that will accommodate my high pressure settings? Or something that isn't as overwhelming as a full face mask.
My name is Nancy and I'd appreciate any help you can offer.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.
Which nasal pillow mask are you using that isn't working well for you? There are masks that can be used at higher pressures but it's not much use for us to maybe recommend what you are already using. So more details are needed...which mask are you trying to use and why is it not working out well?
Nasal pillow masks...can't be used successfully at pressures exceeding 20 cm....there may be some challenges but at higher pressures pretty much all masks will have some extra challenges.

I have an aircurve 10 vauto bilevel. My start pressure is 10.6 and it can go all the way up to 24. Tho it usually doesn't go over 21. I use the N-20 nasal mask and I have the dreamwear as a back up. I have used both successfully, tho I have much better luck with the N-20. Another member Katestyles is at 20. She uses the bleep dreamport, I believe.

I feel your leakage pain tho. I have worked very hard to fix leaks, and I am almost there!
