He's quite a phenomenon. He could break all the Jeopardy! records.
I really wish Alex Trebek well with his cancer issue.
I keep wondering which one (James or Alex) will be leaving the show first. Pancreatic cancer is often quite rapid in its outcome, although there seem to be some survivors. Somebody interviewed him sometime shortly before his announcement and he sounded like a real down-to-earth type person.

I like to think that James is giving Alex a little excitement/distraction.
Another reason to fight.

Hi Kathy! Good to "see" you too! Yes, that's my dog! We got him last year as a tiny puppy. He's adorable, although I know I'm pretty biased about it! Smart dog. Still has way too much puppy in him! Sometimes I tell him that it's a good thing he's cute!

Hope you are doing well! :)

I like Jeopardy!, but don't watch it regularly. If it's on and the TV happens to be on that channel, I'll watch.

James Holzhauer, has caught my interest so I've downloaded the shows with him, watched and am now recording it. Looking forward to the end of the Teacher's Tourney and watching him continue his streak.

Holzhauer was on another trivia game show a few years ago called The Chase. Contestants go head to head against Mark Labbett (The Beast), an intimidating trivia expert and try to beat him.

Holzhauer is one of the few to have kicked his ass.

Interestingly, Mark Labbett, claimed over two years ago that Holzhaur was the best contestant to have appeared on The Chase.

*purrs* Thanks for that link, I had no idea Brooke Burns went on to host another game show after Dog Eat Dog.
I think James Holzhauer is someone interesting to watch, that's for sure. If they were ever to bring back The Weakest Link, I'd love to see Ken Jennings, James Holzhauer and other trivia giants on the show.

Teachers Tourney is over, and James is continuing right where he left off.

Interesting YouTube video breaking down his aggressive style and how it accounts for his success.
