Hello,
I have been a CPAP user for quite some time now, and I use the Respronics Comfort Blue full face mask.
Recently, I visited Phoenix AZ, and during the night I sweated a lot. The mask rubbed the bridge of my nose and produced an avulsion gash. I guess the size is about quarter of an inch. It’s not that bad during the day, I cover it with a small bandaid type dressing. But during the night, it’s very soar and I need to keep adjusting the mask.
I bought some moleskin padding and put it on the part where the mask “curtain” (that plastic part that keeps the gel in place) touches my nose. It worked well the first night but then it got wet with sweat and a small amount of blood and hardened.
I had an extra old curtain so I made several slits in the same spot where my nose touches it. It was very comfortable but produced a leak, so I had to throw it away.
Any suggestions as to how to limit the rubbing of the curtain against my nose?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Full mask cut my nose
Thanks LSAT, I will look into this. Is this a common problem with CPAP users so that they made this product, or am I doing something to make the mask cut my nose? I guess the existence of such a product answers my question.
How is it held in place on the nose? Does it have a sticky part?
What is the starter kit?
Thanks again, for the speed and good tip.
Re: Full mask cut my nose
I've seen the mask you are using..it's one of the largest and heaviest FF masks. There are masks that are far more comfortable. When you have a chance, try the Simplus or the Quattro.
