Sudden leaks
Sudden leaks
I am perplexed as I am having alot of leaks all of a sudden. I have washed my headgear and also tried using a new one with the same strap adjustments. Nothing has changed except the fact my pressure has doubled. I have finally worked out the right mask, pillows and machine to be successful with my therapy and just when I get everything to a great place, a new problem crops up. Can anyone shed any light on my situation or give me any ideas. Thank you for your time in advance.

Re: Sudden leaks
With the higher pressure, could you be leaking air through your mouth? Try taping for a couple of nights and see if that is the problem.

Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional.

"except for the fact my pressure has doubled". That's a big change and you may need to either re-adjust your mask, get a diff. size, or a new type altogether. And if you've gained or lost even 5-10 lbs, it can make a diff. to your face.

Re: Sudden leaks
The biggest "ah-ha" for me in solving leaks was a really clean face before bed. Without that, I can tape my mouth shut and I'll still leak.
Just a thought, YMMV, Jean
