most recent version of the AirCurve10 VAuto

Post by Jeannh » Tue Apr 23, 2019 5:37 pm

Hello!
I am finally moving from an S9 to an AirCurve VAuto (yay! the S9 is heavy for travel). I'm picking it up this week, and am waiting for a Clinical manual from the apneaboard folks. I have to get it from Crapria (oops - did I say that out loud?). I never let them ship, since once you take anything but supplies from them, it's yours forever. I'll be picking it up, so be able to check a few things.

In case I don't get the Clinical manual in time, does anyone know how to check:
- the version, or
- the run hours that cannot be reset? I want a BRAND NEW machine...

Apria is famous for trying to sell used machines as new, and since I'm buying it outright, I want to be sure it is the current version and brand new.
Thanks in advance for your help, Jean

Cancel your order and buy it from our sponsor or Second Wind.

I'd love to get it somewhere else, but Blue Shield won't approve it. :(.

IT should be like the odometer in cars. It might be possible to set back, but it's seriously illegal!

To check the run hours:
1. Hold in the "HOME" button and the large round button on the right.
2. When the clinician menu shows on the screen, press the large round button.
3. Turn the large round button to the right until "ABOUT" shows on the screen. This is at the very bottom of the list.
4. Press the large round button and the screen will show the software version and run hours. The run hours can only be reset at the factory.
5. After checking, press the "HOME" button.
6. Rotate the large round button to the left.
7. Press the large round button to exit the clinician menu.

I'm sorry if this sounds like it is too detailed, but I am used to writing things out for my wife, and she needs clear, concise directions.
