slightly OT: flonase equivalent

Post by zonker » Mon Apr 15, 2019 11:04 am

for those of you using flonase for your clearing of your nostrils, here is some good news. if you happen to be a costco member, they carry a generic equivalent, Kirkland Signature Aller-Flo. personally, i think this is even better than flonase. ymmv.

anyway, costco is having a price reduction on their 5 pack of the kirkland product. from 4-17 until 5-12, they are taking of six bucks.

Sam's Club also offers a low cost generic Flonase equivalent.

Darn, Canadian Costcos don't have Aller-Flo.

Oh well, we still have the Poutine.

Yep. Both the Kirkland 5-pk (Costo) and Members Mark 6-pk (Sam's) come to $4.60 per 5.4 oz bottle of fluticasone, the Flonase generic, at the moment. Quite a savings over most places.

Unfortunately I don't speak enough Canadian French to eat poutine in public.

Good to know you can get Fries with that, it will all end up in the same place, as Fat. Jim

Ya got that right, Jim.

Up our noses is probably the healthiest option.

Poutine. You don't even have to add the Flonase in to make me <shudder>. It sounds nasty!

Too many carbs for me but I notice it is a favorite food on British Columbia ferries. Not much different than gravy on mashed potatoes. Just easier to eat.

The first time I heard of gravy on fries, I thought they were crazy, then I tried it. I was immediately sold on the idea. However, I am not sure about adding the cheese curd to it. Of course, fried cheese curd is one of the big sellers at the Minnesota State Fair every year.

Canadian Costco has POUTINE?
I am so jealous.
We have trouble finding plain old cheese curds, then they are cold--not squeaky at all!
Still, yummy!
