Resmed Liberty Mask

Post by bigdave36 » Thu Mar 28, 2019 3:06 pm

I have been using the Amara View for the last 2 years and its going fairly well. I was thinking of switching to the Liberty. I would like opinions on comfort, fit and leaks.
Also, if anyone knows how sizes compare, I take a Medium in the Amara View
Thanks Much. :D

The liberty mask was on of the first masks I used when I started therapy about 9 years ago. I dropped kicked that mask into the next county... can't remember why....

Sorry... not much help....

There is no correlation between mask sizes when going from the Amara View and the Liberty. The Amara View is based on nose size. The liberty is based on face shape and nasal pillow size. I tried the Liberty at one point and ended up giving it away. I could never come up with a combination that worked for me. Others swear by it, but I ended up swearing at it.

The Liberty did not work for me; however, I think that if I knew then what I know now and used it in conjunction with a cervical collar to elimate jaw drop, then it probably would have worked well.
There's no way to know. I threw it away a long time ago and I'm happy with my DreamWear full face mask.

I wear the RespCare Universal Hybrid FFM. Like the Liberty, it has pillows and covers the mouth, only mine comes with 3 sizes of pillows and 3 sizes of oral cushions. I tried the Liberty but could never get it to seal on my face.
