After reading several posts here, I found yours and joined right away. Have yet to figure out how to pm you. Will as soon as I do. I feel desperate to find alternative to what I've tried so far, for my sake as well as my poor husbands.

New accounts have limitations on posting and PMing (because of past SPAM accounts). I'm not sure what the limitations are or the conditions that they are removed, but that's likely the reason why you can't PM the OP. Hopefully he'll see the activity in the topic and respond to you.

First post for new accounts have to be reviewed by someone to make sure it isn't spam.
Once I (or Carolyn) review it and approve it then you all can see it and once you can see it the new member can also see it and send PMs.
All restrictions are removed once I click on the "approve post" button.
We had to implement this safety check about a year ago because of spam bot attacks....woke up to thousands and thousands of spam posts every day. The bots were creating new accounts and posting faster than I could remove them. Now those same bots only come by every now and then to see if we have let our security lapse...and we haven't so they don't mess with us much anymore. You all never see it.

I try to check in frequently during the day so that legit posts won't be delayed showing up any longer than necessary.

Now we have had some sneaky spammers...they come in an make some sort of mundane comment with no spam in the post...then once it gets approved they come back and add in spam links or start new posts with spam in them....so I still need for you all to watch for spam and report it if you see it. Then I deal with the offender swiftly. So there might not be spam in a new post when I approve it but the offender might come back and edit the post....I might not see the edited post...but you guys might...if you do...report it and they will get the axe quickly and their spam removed just as quickly.

Whew, ok. Thank you kindly for info. I just bit the bullet and purchased the Airfit f20. I'm at that desparate stage where something vs nothing had to be done. Thanks to this forum repeatedly popping up, I no longer feel alone in struggling with this miserable health issue. Again, thanks.
