Pulse Sox software
Pulse Sox software
I have a Nonin 2500A and since Microsoft upgraded Win 10 around the first of the year I cannot get the reader software
to load. The factory software cost about 300 to 400 dollars and I just cannot afford to go out and buy a new copy
they say it will only run on Win 8 or win 7, xp win98. does anyone have a suggestion on how to get around this.
I might use it 3 or 4 times a year.

Re: Pulse Sox software
I'm afraid I don't have any sources for that software, but this is why I prefer the, just as accurate, fraction of the cost, CMS50 series of oximeters.ablong wrote: ↑Tue Feb 26, 2019 9:37 pmI have a Nonin 2500A and since Microsoft upgraded Win 10 around the first of the year I cannot get the reader software

Re: Pulse Sox software
If you can't find another solution, check on craigslist and buy a used computer that is running an older system. You can probably find one for $25 or so as you won't need great specs. Cheaper than replacing the software.ablong wrote: ↑Tue Feb 26, 2019 9:37 pmI have a Nonin 2500A and since Microsoft upgraded Win 10 around the first of the year I cannot get the reader software

Try setting the program to 'run as administrator', that often fixes things.
If it runs on 7, it should run on 10.

Re: Pulse Sox software
You might want to try right clicking on the program and select "Trouble Shoot Compatibility" . After it checks the program it will give you the opportunity to select settings for an earlier version of Windows and run the program using them. Sometimes it works and sometimes not.
