Well went to ENT, instead of helping on relief..

Post by TheWeehawky » Sun Feb 24, 2019 9:06 pm

He wants to do surgeries on the nose to set it halfway, wide it by tubular surgery (I think is what he said), and get the airway open up more.. Rather than give advice on the whole "I'm being ate up by the cold air and it's irritating my sinus, throat, and lung(s)" thing I went in for.

Then if that don't work he wants to do harder on the body surgery, pulling the tongue down lower since it sets high.

Seems nobody wants to hear the "I got blood coming out of my nose, my throat feels like it's being sandpapered at night, being hit in face and ribs/lung with a hammer" part and want to go off in to antibiotics or something else rather than just telling me what to do about the CPAP to stop it screwing me over.

I'd try anything and everything before surgery! Those who I know that have had nasal surgery regret it: cost a lot, painful, and didn't fix the original problem(s).

That's what I figured. I'm going to get the ears fixed, minor problem he found, and tell him I'm just not ready to commit to surgery yet.

With Medicaid you need a referral to see a new specialist. (I was already established about 2 years ago with ENT for something that happened to ears at that time).
