Thank you so much for your kind support. I will try 7 tonight. Sitting here on the couch with it on too. Will report back.
I'm also wondering if I should try exercises or the oboe or didgeridoo...https://www.sleepapnea.org/treat/sleep- ... digeridoo/
I don't have to feel alone!? Maybe I can do it this time - aerophagia, you shall not defeat me!

Sure, so long as you don't expect them to actually do anything at all.sleepymamadc wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 8:15 pmI'm also wondering if I should try exercises or the oboe or didgeridoo...https://www.sleepapnea.org/treat/sleep- ... digeridoo/
Get OSCAR
Accounts to put on the foe list: dataq1, clownbell, gearchange, lynninnj, mper!?, DreamDiver, Geer1, almostadoctor, sleepgeek, ajack, stom, mogy, D.H., They often post misleading, timewasting stuff.

LOL fair enough. In my current renewed vigor for solving my apnea, I have been reading probably too much online and wanting to do EVERYTHING possible. But the CPAP is the most important and effective, so they say. I just am scared I won't be able to use it...but I'm committed to keep trying.
Last night I tried to sleep with it for the first time this round, and suffocated [or thought I suffocated] and tore it off after about 30 minutes. I'm going to turn off the A-flex tonight and raise the pressure slightly to see if that helps.
I'm actually keeping notes of what I'm trying this time - something I've never bothered to do before.

Update - I've now tried the mask for 3 nights. First night I took it off after 30 min because I felt like I was suffocating. 2nd night I took it off after 30 min because the pressure was too high and making me burp like crazy.
Third night: surprise! I reduced the max pressure to 8 (7 is min) and KEPT IT ON ALL NIGHT OMG OMG!
I was still awake a bunch and got aerophagia but I tolerated it. I can't tell you how surprised I am that I was able to do that.
I think I'll keep it on 7-8 auto for a week or so and then move it up to 9. I need at least 12 to reduce the AHIs by 50%, so I have a ways to go.
Thank you crowd for the encouragement!
