Hi everyone! Its been a while...

But, I am doing pretty well. I am faithfully using the swift, the CL2 is retired to perhaps warmer weather, and it is working out beautifully. I am so lucky, that I never sold the blessed thing. It is pretty comfortable the way I have it set up, with the tubing facing down and clipped to my pj's and the hose under the covers with me. The machine is working out real well, no leaks, no noise and no vibration. I have to say thanks again to those who nudged me to keep pursuing the auto, especially since most of my nights are spent around 6 and not 10 where I was originally "assigned" to on straight cpap. I notice small improvements, like not falling asleep on the road, not taking my after work nap, improved concentration and memory and less irritability. My husband would like to see improvements in other areas, if you know what I mean, but that hasn't quite happened yet. Winter will be the true test, b/c it gets dark here so early (4:30) and I used to want to sleep. I am currently not having any more side effects from cpap, although the other morning, after I had been awake for about 2 1/2 hours, I got this high pitched ringing in my left ear and then seemed to have diminished hearing for about an hour. I believe it may have been related to cpap, never had it happen before and I think I have read on here something about ear problems. Well I hope you all are doing well, I sure am!!

Glad to hear you're doing well. I was afraid you had given up on the forum after those comments by the guest/troll.

If you ever get tired of the Swift, you might want to try the Comfort Curve. I used the Swift for ten months and really liked it. But I've found the ComfortCurve to be even more comfortable (no pun intended) and have not experienced the leaks that others have commented on.

Great to read ya' again!
Sounds like you're doing fine! I think the cpap journey is a road of twists and turns for most users! I knew that you would be happy with an auto! It made such a big difference for me too. Funny part, had I not visited forums like this, I would not have even known to request an auto to address the problems that I was having with a straight pressure cpap!

Some of the nicest moments on the forum are when people come back just to report how well they're doing.

Thanks, NYNurse33. I hope all the other thing will get better too.
