Had it for a year, stick with it, I dont want to throw it out the window anymore
Had it for a year, stick with it, I dont want to throw it out the window anymore
I’ve had the CPAP machine now for about a year and I’ve really got used to it although when I first had it I wanted to throw it out of the window every night. It feels kind of comfortable now and I’ve noticed that there are several people commenting on the that but they just can’t get used to it. It’s easy for me to say now but it really is a case of just persevering with it and not letting it beat you. I guess it’s kind of learning to love it for keeping you alive or resistant to strokes . I kind of realise that it was working for me when I realised I hadn’t moaned about it for a few days and it just seems to have got easier from then on. It also helps that my wife doesn’t keep poking me in the ribs when it starts making a noise!

amazing, isn't it? and it really isn't something you can tell folks. each and every one of us has to learn it on our own.Snowdrop wrote: ↑Tue Jan 29, 2019 11:08 amI’ve had the CPAP machine now for about a year and I’ve really got used to it although when I first had it I wanted to throw it out of the window every night. congratulations!
btw, there is a sticky post up in the announcements section where someone is looking for success stories. that would be a great place to copy and past this.

Had it 3 months and still haven't slept once with it. Not once. Tried last night and just laid there for 7.5 hours and cannot sleep with it
