Remstar filter question

Which side does the white ultra fine filter face to the machine. I know it goes in before the gray filter but not sure on which way it goes in.

If they're like the ones for the "classic" machines......Fuzzy side out, hard/plastic side toward the machine.

For the M series, Mesh side goes towards the machine. The smooth side faces out next to the foam filter
