pressure chart in sleepy head showing two lines

Post by is this name taken » Sun Dec 09, 2018 12:08 pm

Hello,

I've been on the machine for 76 days. I wish I would have bothered years ago.

Up until 3 days ago, my pressure chart showed one line. Now, for the past three days it shows 2 lines. They are exactly parallel to each other. One is labeled pressure and the other epap.

I did a search and didn't really find anything. I also randomly looked through posts to see other people's charts and sometimes I saw the two lines and sometimes not.

My question is, what does the second line mean and why did all my days before only have one line but have two now. I haven't made any machine changes for several weeks.

Thanks,

Two lines on the pressure graph usually just reflect that some sort of exhale relief is being used.

One line for inhale pressure and one for exhale pressure (that's the EPAP labeled line) because of the drop during exhale when using EPR (Resmed exhale relief) or Flex (Respironics exhale relief).

As to why just now showing up...have no idea. Are you sure no one messed with the EPR settings?

Thanks for the help. It is indeed now turned on. I don't know how it got turned on. I specifically had it turned off because I don't notice a difference with it on or off. My provider does not have access to my machine. Nothing else is changed. I'll change it back and press on.
