It's not very detailed, compared to some. It looks like a WatchPAT report.Arlene1963 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 11:05 amHi Lizzy,
Is this report a home study or an in lab study? I didn't know that home studies could be this detailed and am quite impressed if this is a home study.

On the surface, your report looks good, but you're having a fair amount of flow limitations (that disturb sleep) and it's causing your pressure to bounce around... (which isn't a problem itself, but it shows there's other problems causing that.LizzyB wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 11:48 amI'm attaching two nights from Sleepyhead, these are very "normal" nights for me.
Again I'm not trying to talk myself out of using my machine, I just want to make sure I understand as much as I can about whats going on. I did not ask the Dr to stop, I thought she'd want to look at my settings, possibly suggest some adjustments etc.. this was just a followup appt. She said to stop, I asked specifically about potential heath issues with stopping and she stated that she wasn't worried and went into detail why. At this point, I'm the one worrying about stopping and I just want to understand a bit more before deciding what to do. My sleep test was a home test, one of the things I could do is find a sleep specialist for a second opinion which I'm still considering.
Thank you for all the advice.
I'd suggest raising the min pressure to 10, and see if that smooths out your breathing.
What your doctor doesn't seem to realize is that sleep disordered breathing causes more harm than just oxygen deprivation. Disturbed sleep means less rest, which means less health.

My AHI was only 13; but cpap has stopped my multiple nightmares,
waking in a panic, and midnight potty runs.
I do not miss the morning headaches, or falling asleep midday--or mid-movie.
They will only take away my cpap when they pry it from my cold, dead hands.
Or deliver a shiny NEW one!
