Hose covers 6 or 8 feet?

Post by Cathyann » Fri Oct 26, 2018 4:45 pm

What size do you use? I've always used a 6 feet hose cover and I think I'm going to buy an 8' as my cat enjoys chewing on the short hose.

Just wondering if the extra weight of the cover will be too heavy for my nasal pillows and they won't stay in place as well?

Thoughts please.

www.padacheek.com does a small hose cover specifically for your mask

Hi Jas, thanks for answering.

I do have the barrel cozy from them and it's really helped. Just curious, would it be better to buy their short hose cover? Just that alone is more expensive than if I got one 8' hose that covers the whole shabang. My main concern is the weight and if it would affect the seal.

Just got a replacement p10 but don't want to break it out just yet, trying to come up with the best solution for me while keeping the cats from damaging a new hose.

Does anyone use the longer hose cover for the whole entire thing?

Any hose that pulls on the mask causes the chances of mask leaks to increase.

Got an old tube sock of some sort laying around somewhere?
If so...cut the toe and slide it over the short hose. Secure with either tape or bread ties or something.
You have a cheap short hose cozy that doesn't weigh much.
