International Travel with CPAP - Voltage Converter

Has anyone traveled internationally with their CPAP? I am headed to India in a couple of weeks, and the converters that I have found say not for use for more then 15 minutes. Any suggestions for a voltage converter to run my CPAP??

Looks like you have a Remstar. They will auto convert to the local voltage. You will need a plug adapter to go from us plug to india plug. India may have different outlets depending where you are going. You will also need an extension cord just in case you have to go across the room for power. Try megellan.com of plug adapters. Also, you may be able to google plug adapter. Good Luck!!

I did not look at the power brick, I will have to check. If it is like the laptop stuff, you are correct all I will need is a cord

A cord and adapter should do you; I travel to Europe with my RemStart M Series all the time, with no problem.

where is the best place to get the cord and adapter?

Look at Magellans.com for a plug adapter for the country you will be visiting. The hotels in many foriegn countries have adapters but you would have to check for sure.

Extension cords are at any hardware, drug, etc. store.
