Dreamstation apap flex setting

Post by Woody » Tue Oct 16, 2018 4:44 pm

I have gone into the clinical menu and it looks like they have 2 flex settings. I was able to
turn off flex in the first setting but can't do any thing in the second flex setting. When I go
into Sleepyhead it looks like it's still providing about 1cm epap relief can I turn that totally
off ?

What in SleepyHead is telling you that Flex is still at 1 despite being turned off at the machine level?
Do you see it on the pressure graph or is it the machine settings telling you?

On the pressure graph I see two traces one 1 cm higher than the other.
No big deal reay but I had to use my backup cpcp a S9 for a few days and
found a constant pressure may feal better to me than even that slight
releaf.

You need to go into all the settings and find which one is set to 1 for Flex and set to 0 to turn it off.
It will/should be in the clinical settings menu area.
I am not familiar with the DreamStation to know exactly the wording. It's in there somewhere.

iirc, there's a 'flex on/off' in the clinical menu, and flex level in the user side... but I'm not positive and can't be arsed to open up the clinical manual :D
