so I have a trip coming up and for whatever reason (I have several), I did not decide on what machine and where and how fast I can get it.(yet)
I could print out online offer, go into local physical DME and see if they will match it. Flexibility is not something I have seen a lot in local DME's. Or I could order online. Cons would be potentially getting a brick or a machine that doesn't work well and having to do things via long distance.
Or even what to choose.
Going to Denver. I get dry mouth with nasals and I get noise and less sleep with ffm so I am thinking nasal.
Suggestions on anything?

Re: need travel cpap in a week
Just use your existing machine a travel machine won’t emulate your BiLevel.

What happened to the old AutoSet that you had when they gave you the S9 VPAP?
You still using PS of 3? You could probably get by with another AutoSet and use EPR at 3.
You can of course just take your existing machine.

Re: need travel cpap in a week
I agree, take your regular machine, at least this time. The travel machines are noisier, probably don't come in bi-level, and don't have a humidification chamber (which you'll need in Denver).
In the future, you might want to look into the matter, but certainly not on such short notice. Carry your CPAP in the original case. It is exempt from the baggage limitation, at least in the U.S.
Also, pack an extension cord, sometimes the power socket is far from the bed.

My machine is close to 5 years old and I got rid of the orig cpap before I thought I was ever going to bond with any machine/mask (hindsight and all that) Yes, I can use this machine. But read where someone got their machine screwed with. I will just keep a bead on it. Thank you.

Re: need travel cpap in a week
I understand your concerns. If you could get your hands on a cheap used S9 AutoSet ....that would get you by since you only need PS of 3.
EPR of 3 will do it for you.
Someone just posted one for $100 plus shipping...

Fetou has one...see above link. I don't know anything about it but it would get you by and you wouldn't have to spend much money.

I suggest that everrybody keep their old CPAP if it is in working order. If the new one fails, you have a backup.lliann wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 5:15 pmMy machine is close to 5 years old and I got rid of the orig cpap before I thought I was ever going to bond with any machine/mask (hindsight and all that) Yes, I can use this machine.
