Are there any issues with using the slimline resmed hoses with the airsense 10 and heated chamber? I just installed the slimline as I prefer it's light weight when connected to my mask but want to make sure its okay to use the temperature setting to warm up the water in the chamber.
Thx

Re: Slim line Hose - Heated?
You can use that hose. If you keep your bedroom cold or very cool while sleeping, you may have a problem with rain out. That is the only problem I see with using that hose.

There is no problem using a slimline hose with any machine. Most machines come with slimline hoses.

Re: Slim line Hose - Heated?
You may or may not have any condensation issues with the non heated slimline hose.
It all depends on your ambient bedroom temperature and your humidity setting.
Using a hose cover might be enough to keep the air in the hose warm enough that it won't release the moisture when it cools.
Probably not much of an issue right now but it might be later on this winter when we typically keep the house ambient temperatures a bit cooler at night.
Cross that bridge if and/or when you come to it.
Heck, you might be like my mom and keep the house so warm in the winter that there won't be any condensation happening.
We used to have a forum member who kept saying "I don't know what your problem is because I NEVER get any condensation in my mask or hose"....come to fine out he kept his house a 78 degrees.
No wonder he never got any rain out.

Well, any machine that has a slimline hose setting. Not all do.
