Longer heated tubing for ResMed autoset?

Post by jagzoo » Mon Sep 17, 2018 3:07 pm

I’m looking for a longer tubing to used with my ResMed Autoset for Her. I have the supplied 6 ft hose but it isn’t quite long enough to route around and over my new headboard. I can’t seem to find a 8 ft heated hose. Does one exist for this machine?

Thanks

type 8 ft resmed s10 heated hose in your browser or search. it looks like there are places that might sell it.

Thanks but already tried that - only the 6ft heated hoses show up. There are plenty of generic non heated hoses but no longer ones for the S10 that I could find.

Climatelinemax is for S9, not S10

My wife and I just added a short hose onto our six foot hose. We purchased a short hose cover from Padacheek to match our regular hose covers. The hose can be found here:

They have a similar version for the AirSense/AirCurve machines.

Slightly larger diameter than the regular heated hose and it has a port for attaching an O2 line if needed. If not needed just plug it up.

There is no heated hose longer than the 6 ft length. If you want longer and you want to keep the heated hose you need to add a short hose and maybe a hose cozy over the short hose to help retain the heated air.

If I was going to want a little more length and didn't want to go with a non heated 8 ft or 10 ft hose I would just get the Featherweight hose from Circadiance.
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/circad ... -cpap-tube
and then I would add a short hose cozy.
This hose already has ends that will adapt to the long hose and the mask without a need for a connector.

Now if you don't need or want the heated hose side of things you can get the 8 ft or 10 ft regular hose.

Thanks Pugsy,
Already have a short hose and a hose cozy I can use but wanted to see if I was just missing the fact that there was a longer one available. Guess not.

But thanks to all who responded.
