AirSense 10 auto install instructions
AirSense 10 auto install instructions
I just ordered an Airsense 10 auto for her machine which I expect to get by next week. Unfortunately I will only see my rt on the 20th and then leave for a two week business trip the day after. Is it possible for me to do the clinical set up myself and then have her check it when I see it. I have the 30 day return to find out if I like it better than the Dreamstation that I am currently using and do not love but If I get it now that 30 days will be up by the time I get back and can try it. Thanks for the info.

Re: AirSense 10 auto install instructions
One setting that often slides by un-noticed is under the "Essentials" heading in the "Options" tab (page 17 of the clinical manual). The two settings available are "on" and "plus." With "Plus" you gain the easiest access to future changes as well as information displayed on the machine's screen.
Essentials On: turns the machine into a brick as far as data display on the screen sleep report is concidered, only shows usage hours though it doesn't affect data on the SD card.
Essential Plus: displays efficacy data on the screen sleep report. In addition and perhaps more importantly, it provides more immediate access to therapy settings, including changing mask type, EPR (if enabled), SmartStart and Run Warmup (if water tub available).

Re: AirSense 10 auto install instructions
Thanks JimW. I'm quite anxious about doing this since it is so frowned upon by the dme but as I'm not buying it from them and can't set up a meeting with them when I need to I figure I'd better go ahead and try.

Re: AirSense 10 auto install instructions
i understand your worry. but most people here think it's best to take charge of your own therapy. it can get you the results you want in a much more timely fashion.
the experts here will guide you through the steps.
good luck!

Don't spare a thought for the DME, they're just out to take all your money, there's *nothing* they can do that you can't do, plus more.

Thanks to you all for encouragement. If I get in trouble setting it up I will definitely come running for the forum.
