Dreamstation cellular modem

Post by keysgate » Fri Aug 24, 2018 12:54 pm

Looked through here and Google to see what cell provider the modem uses to connect and can't seem to find the answer. I have found the frequencys it uses so maybe that would be the key. It has a regular IMEI number just like a normal cellular phone. I would guess Verizon but maybe someone knows for sure. ty

Does it matter?
My guess would be whatever the provider uses, depending on the local market.
Many of those towers have multiple antennae--some are leased.
The bandwidth is negligible, so could even be a bonus for the DME/doctor, etc.

Does it matter? If course not. I was looking for a technical answer from someone who may be interested in the cellular component of the modem, and the process and or provider used to connect to the supplier.

Privacy concerns may make that information harder to find.
Or not.
