Why do you say it is not working? Here, you posted some good results - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=172434&p=1261442#p1261442

I bet you are sleeping more hours than you think. How is your sleep hygiene, diet and exercise? Have you given up Nestea and all other sources of caffeine including chocolate?

Can you post current data? Otherwise it's a guessing game. Aside from that it's the usual ruling out process. Are you on any meds known to disrupt sleep? Any issues with limb movements during sleep? Any possibly relevant medical conditions such as thyroid dysfunction or mood disorders?

i wake up alot and its hard to get back to sleep
i still think its my nose turbinates because i get shortness of breathe sometimes and headaches
when i first fall asleep it only last 20 25 minutes

im not on any meds or any conditons that i know of i had blood tests and it came negative this is going on for now 2.5 months
well only one month with the bilevel machine
today i had shortness of breathe and started to pace around the house... pacing around seems like a side effect to me of no sleep and the breathing .. this happend to me last month for 2 3 days straight

Hi nayan6842:

You're producing some really interesting sleep data. I'm so sorry about your disturbed sleep. Has your clinician seen your current data? Have you communicated your discomfort to him/her? Sometimes it's just best to check in with the doc.

A lot of your clear airway apneas are occurring after you have been asleep for awhile. Again, your clinician needs to become aware of your high percentage of this type of apnea. He/she may want to start you on an entirely different machine and therapy. Let them help you along. You deserve top notch care!

Hi nayan6842:

You're producing some very interesting data here. Have you inquired yet with your clinician? Have you communicated your level of discomfort and your interrupted sleep with him/her? Sometimes it's just best to let the doc have a crack at things. He/she may want to start you on a completely different type of machine or therapy or may offer tips to help smooth out the way for you. Your clinician will likely be intrigued by your high percentage of clear airway apneas.

A clear airway apnea is a stopped breathing event with no obstructive cause. So, you could be dealing with a different type of apnea altogether, which may require a different type of machine altogether.

Don't worry...your doc is going to know how to fix what ails you. Just hang in there.

Have you tried a full face mask or hybrid mask? If you are having trouble with your nose, maybe you need to be able to breathe through your mouth to be able to sleep comfortably.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

That's so cute, these forums exist because people were *failed* by their docs.

If docs took care of their patients adequately, this forum would have no reason to exist.
