a hair question

Post by gabagoo » Mon Aug 13, 2018 5:16 am

This is a very unimportant topic but it is an issue for me. I use a wisp mask and I will assume many will do the same thing. My hair is a mess!!! I shower every morning and I now have a spot on my head where my hair stands on end from the strap of the mask changing the way it seems to lay. I was wondering if there was something you could put on your head that is very uninvasive and will allow the hair to sit flat.

Some women (womenzez) use a stocking cap of some sorts. I think I remember chunky frog mentioning it (but I could be wrong). There are the fabric types and there are the thin ones like panty hose material.

Any type of hair covering that is snug and does not shift much could help. Material would be whatever works best for your hair type. A scarf wrap is sufficient, but if you want to buy something, do-rags are easy to use. I used to get them in the ethnic hair supplies, the ones with the long ends to tie. The ones like a stocking cap felt too tight around the band on my big head. Good luck finding what works best for you.

I tried one of the motorcycle helmet liners I had laying around. Thicker than some of the "do rags". Still did not help much but better with it than without. I was running the Dreamwear nasal. Wonderful mask, more comfortable than the P10. But the headgear really smashes my hair and even 3 weeks later it still lays funny.

Google chemo caps.
Some look rather pretty.
